A child types or speaks a short idea and Kid Canvas makes an original black-and-white coloring page from it. Every idea is filtered: real people, brand characters, and personal details (like an address or school name) are blocked, and an automated safety check runs before anything is drawn.
On supported iPads, pages can be made privately on the device. Otherwise the short text idea (never your child's drawing) is sent securely to generate the page. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. In the Parent Area you can prefer the private on-device option (where your iPad supports it). Parental controls live behind a parental gate so only an adult can change them.
No — never. Kid Canvas contains no ad networks and no third-party analytics or tracking software, and we do not sell or share your child's information. This is core to the app, not a setting.
Yes, through your family's private Apple iCloud (CloudKit). Artwork stays in your Apple account, not on our servers. Deleting a page on one device removes it on your other synced devices.
The full creative core — drawing, coloring, mazes, and reveals — is free forever. A planned Kid Canvas Plus subscription and optional content packs add more AI and extras, always behind the parental gate. Nothing is charged during the current TestFlight beta.

If you're on TestFlight, a screenshot during the issue prompts a feedback submission we'll receive automatically. You can also email us with your iPad model, iPadOS version, and what happened.
Delete individual creations in the app to remove them from your devices and iCloud. Since we don't store your child's artwork or AI ideas on our servers, there's nothing on our side to erase — but email us any time with questions.
